Weekend Wiiiiiii

Today is my i-hate-to-do-laundry day. Or simply, i'm-a-lazy-bum-so-i-don't-want-to-do-my-laundry-today day. The weather is scorching hot that it will only that about half an hour if I were to hang my clothes. Nevertheless, procrastination wins over 'race for the sun!' spirit.

Just a quick recap of what I did today:
1. Wake up at 6.30 for Subuh prayer.
2. Talked on the phone with yus for about 1 hr.
3. Out of bed at 8.
4. Eat ns lemak with 3 in 1 nescafe.
5. Bring laptop into kitchen, do some online window shopping. This went on until 12!
6. Finally took my bath after 2-3 times leteran fr mak.
7. Lunch.
8. Continue internet browsing (in bed)
9. Yus called.
10. Pray.
11. Outing with mak (3.30-6.30pm) to kedai Tupperware, bakery store n Tesco.
12. Dinner.

Eeyeahaha that's about all.

One great news today : Yus has told his sis regarding our engagement plan n she totally seconds it! Yeayy! So now my love is more bersemangat to tell his parents...maybe in Feb or March.
And I tersenyum sampai telinga for the rest of the evening =) One Habib gemstone diamond ring coming up!

Dream Day Wedding

I have a new idea for my wedding day. Why not do it at the new multipurpose hall nearby!?? Initially I wanted to do a special tent for the guests of honor (meaning Yus' side of family and rombongan) that would be like 40 people. So that's gonna need a big tent rite? But then as I'm living in a taman..the lorong is narrow..just enough for a tent to take up the whole lorong width. For my sisters wedding before this..my parents would put up 2/3 tents..then the groom's side will eat in a smaller tent which is placed in our garden. As our garden now is so jam-packed with plants and flowers...I don't see how that is possible anymore. If we were to put up more tent outside the house..then that will cause a massive traffic obstruction because my house is just at the corner of a junction.

So now, the solution is to do the wedding at a hotel or a dewan. Hotel will surely be so expensive and I can't possibly invite the whole clinic staff. A dewan would be sufficient whereby in our custom here it is not necessary that everyone be seated and eat at one go. People come in and leave as they please. And the idea of putting up extra tables for my special guests will no longer be an issue. Hooray!

One thing that I am curious of is regarding the hantaran. Will they be in the perarakan pengantin masuk ke dewan... And where will they be placed? Then what about the security of the barang2? For someone who is easily paranoid like me.. It IS worrisome. On the other side of it...we might just leave the hantaran at home then my photogs will snap awesome pictures of the hantaran. Guests will only be able to see the hantaran in pictures or we do a slideshow video at the dewan?? Hahah talk about show offs... Well yeah, I'm always dreaming of fabulous hantarans... Best nyaaa!

My ex-clinical partner will get married this coming June. The wedding will surely be at a dewan or hotel. She's residing in Putrajaya and her daddy is a Dato'. Thus her wedding will surely be a blast (I think so). Hemm maybe I can grab some ideas from her then.

The dewan. Still under construction.
Hopefully the rent's affordable.
Approximately 250 metres from my house.

Oh we're already nearing the A.Setar toll now. I'll be here in A.Setar for Kursus FYDO today. So till then... x o x o.

Welcome 2010!

My new year resolution is simple. It's not many. One is to start saving money for my engagement. My aim : to save RM1k/month..which is quite a lot. So I would have to say goodbye to weekly shopping and spending. Sob! Sob! Even after 5 months of working, I now only have saving for road tax(for february) n some money to contribute for Abah's hajj (for end of next year but I save rm100/mth so I do not have to fork out a lot of money at one go).

So eventhough there is still no official date yet for our engagement, but I guess it is somewhere around June… during school holiday perhaps. Yus also have agreed to that. But his parents? We hope that they’ll agree too! Yus is planning to tell them this coming April. Fingers crossed~~
