Bloomingdale's

Today the SPM results are out. My cousin's daughter, Fatin got 10A1's. So wonderful! I knew it that she'll excel. She's been very consistent since she was in kindergarten. Always the top student. She asked me once, 'Kak Milia, mcm mana nak score in Bio? Kalau jawab bagus pun, Fatin blh dapat A2 ja.' I was like - whAt? 'So for the other subjects Fatin slalu dapat apa?' And she casually answered, 'Yg lain dapat A1...'
Hahah then I was left speechless. How do I give her tips when I never once, or very rarely got A for Biology when I was in form 5...

My mom was also very happy. And she became more worried for my younger brother, who will sit for SPM this year. She said to abah, 'Eventhough our daughters got good results, but this is the first in our big family to get straight As in SPM. Even Milia's SPM results were not that excellent'

Yes, I must admit that. I only obtained 6As for SPM. Somehow, miracle happened during matriculation where I got CGPA of 4.00 for 2 semesters. Then, it struck me that that was when I started to bloom!

Then I said to mom and abah; 'Well, for some people, they bloom early but maybe later for the others. Doesn't matter whether it's physically, mentally, socially or even spiritually!' And abah liked what I said. 'Wow, what you said is very nice!' Yes, indeed.
